The good soil bears fruit with patient endurance {Mark 4: 20}

The race that we run requires patience - because it is long; and endurance - because there will be challenges ahead. 

In You Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame. Do not be far from me, my God. Come quickly to help me. Psalm 71:1

No one lights a candle and hides it under a 'bushel' (basket). So said Jesus in Matthew 5:15. What is the 'bushel' hiding your light? Pain, fear, rejection? Break free and do what He created you to do: shine!

When I feel discouraged, I'm encouraged by this truth from Chichi Eze-Nliam:

- I am a three in one creation- the masterpiece, the centerpiece and the corner-piece. I am the epitome of divine creation, the center of God’s attention and the cornerstone of God’s love.

- There is a God who is with me, and for me!
